Have a 1200 ute with an a14 fitted and a filthy noisy lt-135 alternator

Only done minor research but apparently an lt150 will bolt straight up as well as other variants of this type of alternator. Anyone with a 50 amp or higher unit that will bolt up to the a14 or any details towards obtaining one feel free to pm or message 0468960681.

Rebuilds are sold as Bosch AL237X (50A) or AL241X (60A).

I used one for a 200b on my a15 before I sold the engine. Auto electrician had one on the shelf. Slightly bigger pulley and more amps I think. Around the $150 mark. It worked a treat. Just make sure the connecting plug is the same configuration as the alternator first

You will also have to get a slightly longer fan belt as the LT-150 is larger than the LT-135.

Possibly a different adjusting bracket will be needed too. I've never seen an A14 with an LT-135.

LT-135 came in two different connector types.

As far as I'm aware all LT-150 used same connector as Datsun 1200
