G'day gents,

Now that my engine build is under way, I've had to start thinking about colour schemes and what colour I will eventually paint the 1200 ute?

I've narrowed it down to 2 choices both being R35 GTR colours. Would love your opinions. Good or bad.

First is Titanium Metallic / Titanium Gray #KAC
- It's a little more of a brown-grey where the gun-metal is a little more of a bluish-grey.
"Titanium changes colors when the sun hits the lines. Goes from a bronze in full light to a deep silver where the light changes."

























Next is Gunmetal Metallic / Dark Metal Gray #KAD

What colour/style rims will you be going with? I feel like that plays a big part in body colour choice.

I think I'd be leaning to the Titanium with some deep black Watanabes if it was me. Although I'm not personally a massive fan of metallic paint on older cars, but I'm sure it'd look pretty bad ass none the less

Will definetly be going for either Shakotan's, SSR MK2 or wantanabe's with plenty of dish!

Ute..... Both could look good but to pull off titanium IMHO you need low and aggressive stance. A hasuka front end would look awesome in titanium.

both of those colours will look very different on the 1200 ute than they do on the gtr.

out of those 2 id go with the titanium, but honestly go with silver i reckon

I recently sprayed the inner bits of my star sharks in a colour i chose very similar to the titanium. I chose this colour because it is alot better in a wider variety of lights and will suit afternoon and morning lights very very welL.

I reckon it will keep the car closer in its era than the gunmetal.

Good colour choice its literally exactly what i chose on my starsharks.

Whatever you do i would stay away from super fine course or pearl as it looks too modernised and doesnt compliment her curves but at the same time don't go too super course either :P

And also yes wheel choice is critical and the titanium can pull off either chrome or black/dark gray...

I seem to be leaning toward the greys. Does anyone have any photos of the Factory gray colours?
