So unfortunately the time has come to sell my beloved bucket as I no longer have the time, money or space for 2 project cars. So up for sale is my 1974 Datsun 120y 2 Door Sedan, I've had this car for about 2 years now and have used it as a daily for majority of that. Car goes hard and has a lot more grunt over a standard 120y. Not trying to paint a pretty picture of it as it is rough and will need a lot of work so will suit either parts car or restoration,
The good:
Twin 40mm DHLA dellortos correctly jetted by SWM with new soft mounts and gaskets
2 1/4 inch straight through exhaust, sounds great and never had problems with the police
Suppose shaved head to increase comp but cannot prove this
New low king springs, less then 3000ks old
New front bearings less then 5000ks old
New coil, leads, plugs, dizzy cap, points, condensor and associating wires less then 5000ks old
Has enriches/choke fitted so starts even on the coldest of mornings
Was tuned by Stewart at SWM but could probably use a tune
New gearbox and diff oils
New break fluid and flushed lines
Flipped rear leafs with new poly urethane bushes
Auto technia steering wheel and boss kit
13 inch enkie alloys with 80% rubber on them
Probably a bunch of other stuff i can't remember now but have receipts for everything
Now to the bad:
Burns oil and blows some smoke but never had problems with the police about it
Rear bearings are noisey and need replacing but travelled at 100 kph on them fine for over a year so never got round to doing them
Body is rough, has dings and scratches, previous owner said rust was cut out and fixed with turned out to mean he bogged majority of it up and is cracking and showing now
Hit a tree on the drivers side rear quarter and just pushed it back out to fit the tail light as the pics show
Paint is faded reflects its age, as stated earlier it's good for a project or parts
Rego ran out when I was over seas so will be selling without

Trying to get rid of it as quick as possible so I can finish my other car so throw me your best offer, have a bunch of spare parts that could be included if the price is decent
