Datsun 1200 name plate

I am having my 1973 Datsun 1200 ute spray painted. When I purchased the vehicle over 20 years ago it came with the "Datsun 1200" emblem name plate inside the glove box. Same as the one on the header of this site in cursive script. Does anyone know where on the vehicle it was attached OR if this model actually had the name plate attached anywhere.

Thank you. Bit of a conundrum now. One reply said the utes didn't have them. However your photograph depicts differently.

Thank you. The next reply states it was on the tailgate top right corner.
I have no idea. Cheers

Buy a new one and put it wherever you like. We have seen them placed in many areas including the glove box lid and the front grille. So to figure out what was original, factory literature is consulted.
Bprojects is selling one http://ebay.com.au/itm/370787532268

ddgonzal you are correct, according to Nissan's Microfiche it is located at the right hand side of the tailgate up the top just below the natural body lines. And this badge can still be purchased from Nissan, just got mine from work the other day.
