Hi Everyone.
Thought I would start my own build thread. Seeing as looking at others I have got some great ideas. I have been slowly repairing rust, striping back to bare metal and also fitting after market replacement panels. Plan is A14 and single 40dcoe to start with I also have an A15 which I may fit later or put A15 internals and sump in A14 Block With Oval port head and twin 40dcoe Possibly a 79mm bore, taking it out to 1608cc 120y disc front end. Standard H165 diff for now. TRX 15" rims Custom centre console Fit some new style bucket seats I will add some photos of progress so far Any feedback, criticism or suggestions welcome. Cheers

Repairing rusted out rear wheel arches
They were rusted out around lower edge and holes had been filled with sika flex and huge amounts of body filler.

I got sick of doing rust repairs.
Had some pipe and a turn buckle laying around. So I made a strut brace up.

Yay, a classic aussie-style buildup right down to the TRX wheels.
I like the wheel arch fix, looks good.

Thanks D
Spent a lot of time cutting, grinding, wire wheel and welding. Just about had enough of removing rust. Almost done!!!! ![]() Any suggestions on a top coat colour? Was thinking Gunmetal grey, maybe Metallic silver or even white. Possibly paint the spoke part of the TRX wheels maybe?

Hey Zigmondo
The wheel arches? Or the front inner guards? I don't know how many wire wheels and grind/cutting discs I've gone through.. Haha, Over rust repairs. But at least I will know it's all gone. You can view topic.
