A15 exhaust manifold options?

Hi I'm trying to weigh up what to do about an exhaust setup.
I have an a15, h89 head and going to run efi or start with a Weber or stock a15 carb until I can afford to finish the efi the way I want to.. I was wondering if it's worth running extractors or is it better to run a stock exhaust manifold for the heating on startup and daily driver factor.. I read there's a water component to the a15 setup I just can't remember what it is.. And what would be a decent smooth daily option.. Any advice would be awesome

For maximum hp, go with tuned extractors. For example, if you'll be running at 6800 RPM down the back straight, put your resonator at 26(?) inches from the exhaust valve
On the other hand, for good power at all RPMs (low, mid and high) the cast iron 4-into-2-into-1 extractor can't be beat. As much power as un-tuned extractors (at least up to 6400 RPM) and yet quieter and longer lasting You can view topic.
