Yes, Horn trigger wire connects to earth via the Horn Button

With two-wire Horn Button:
* earth wire
* Horn trigger wire

With single-wire Horn Button
* earthed via the screws/fasteners
* Horn trigger wire
Connect the Horn Button wire to the un-earthed hub wire
Open in new window

Works Bell hubs will have one to five wires, depending on the Works Bell model. The extra wires are for fancier Steering Wheels

The steering wheel Hub connects to the Horn trigger via the spring-loaded contact riding on the bottom of the hub

And if getting engineered they won't pass with a quick release

First find which one on the column goes to the battery (maybe just follow the cable), and then for the wheel which one goes to the contactor and which one goes to seemingly nothing. The nothing wire will be your earth, and the contactor will be the horn. (Hopefully I'm not completely wrong here)
