I was looking for a 4.11 LSD to go into the 240Z but what I found was a 4.44, has anyone used this ratio on the street? is it practical?

I'm using 4.37 with a 5 speed on street. All good even.on freeway. Too speed limited to about 150kmh at full speed by my calcs

It depends on the tyres you are using

For example:
* stock ute 4.11 ratio with stock 12" tyres (21.8" diameter)
is equivalent to
* 4.44 ratio with 23.6" tyres (175/70R14)

On the street, this returns better acceleration than higher ratios and a top speed of 130kph (with a stock 68hp A12, which is only enough power to do 140kph, regardless of gearing)

I use 4.30 with 23" tires. With the 2 speed Powerglide and 1.82 first gears, I shift at 7200 rpms. Finishing in Drive at around 115 mph and 7400 rpms in the 1/4 mile. I have been looking for a second set of rims and 26" tires for possible better 1/4 mile times. Right now 23" tires are perfect for the 1/8 mile track.

If you have a 5 speed OD transmission it's not an issue.

On a 4 speed it's going to depend on the tire. As an example I use a really short tire 20.6 for racing. 80 mph is something like 5500 RPMs and 110 is 7800 or so. Your tire are going to be much taller, go online and use one of those calculators to see what RPMs will be. Much past 4000 RPMs will likely be annoying.

I think the 5 speed has a 1:1 top, also I will still be running 14inch wheels. I am assuming it would be not so relaxed at highway speeds, but good for quick takeoffs.

Is it the original L24 engine in her for otherwise sometimes
better find a cheap L28 or L26 and keep original donk wrapped up.
my 260z had an old L26 with headers and twin sus with stock box
and was a treat for street and highway.
4.11 is a good all round ratio vs the 4.4 which can make you
more aggressive as you run out of gear just that little quicker

Its a 2.8 D, 4.11 would be my first choice but not finding one.

The L28 has a 7000 rpm redline, so no worries there. Do you value the better acceleration with the 4.44 or the better fuel economy/quietness with the 4.11?
