I wish there were pictures of the log books. The car looks really nice but for the price I'd want absolute proof it was the Devendorf RunnOffs winining car. Returning it back to an all steel bodied C-Sedan car would be tough. Regardless it does look nice.

Tom, I sent you a word doc with the history of the car that the owner supplied. And, true that it would be a tough job to get it back to its original C Sedan spec - it would need stock-ish fenders, doors, steel quarter panels, and a return to the original leaf spring rear suspension from its current coil-over setup. It is still an all-tub car however, so for someone with decent metal working skills, (not me) it could be done. It would be nice to see it returned to its old school championship trim.

Stan I seem to recall that I "might" know someone who does ace metal work. As for the rear coilovers that suprisingly won't be so much of an issue for VARA or SVRA. The current 2.5 Trans Am B-Sedan rules allow leaf spring cars to convert to coil overs.

If I sold my coupe, the F500 and the 3 motorcycles that would pay for this. Of course there is the small matter of reattaching the rear quarters. I'm sure Dana's bill wouldn't be more 2-3K

can you send me the copy of the word doc you have? I just spoke to the owner too.. its a little dicey on the PROOF this is THE CAR that Devandorf drove.. nothing about him in the logbooks... BUT through a little trail of reasonable deduction it appears it IS the car..
The FAB work is not that bad.. um.. just money to the right fabricator and a donor car.. LOL
