i have a datsun 1200 and it says on the rego that it is a datsun 1200 stu?? does anyone know what that means?

"B110(S)(T)U" is a 4-dr sedan, right-hand drive.
I'm not sure where on the car this code is listed, but in Nissan documentation like the owners's manual it's sometimes listed. For more info, see the Tech Section article What body styles did the 1200 come in? (scroll down to bottom of article). I think this is what the codes mean: A=Automatic T=manual Transmission R=2-dr sedan L=Left-hand drive V=Van (wagon) K=Coupe (Kuupe)
