I went and checked out my 1200 paint progress on Friday. Not much going on with it. Which is kind of sad, but I've twisted the dude's arm who's painting it, and hopefully he'll speed up his progress.

Of course it is taking him a while.... He is a dog... Can't be easy without aposable thumbs!

Yes, the engine in the avatar is the engine destined for that car. It's good for high 300hp. The car is very low in rust, all of the rust has been fixed. So the car will look pretty schmick by the time it's done. I've rubbed back the cam timing belt cover and given it a coat in etch primer, it needs to get the scratches and nicks out of it, so the engine bay looks nicer.
