"even" a 1200 coupe? You make it sound second-best

Nice stocker 1200 coupes are around $1500. B-210s are less. However, you'll have to look around, there are some for sale but not like in Oz.

When you come to the US, bring a ute with you ...

Dear Santa, I would like a RHD Sedan, Wagon & 4 door. Not alot to ask?............As for 1200's in US, next to no sedans. You'd prob find a coupe. 210's are free to cheap. I wouldn't spend more than 1,000USD. TONS & TONS of 210's @ the wreakers for parts. Easy to get new parts for 210's also. Dare I say my opinion...........here goes the hornets nest.......coupes ARE 2nd place to sedans! And 210's aren't even on the map!!

Also be prepared to wait a few months , they seem to come up in pairs. Now as far as C-dan's are better well....... The coupe is better looking but the sedan is a lot more practical. My navie for my upcoming Tarmac Rally debut is 6 5" and tight fit does not begin to describe it. A friend of mine rates cars by how good they are for rollover - I suspect the coupe would get his "not much good for rollover " rating.

Rollover ratings.. Oh man!!

I hear that any 120Y has a very good rollover rating. Actually we saw that dude's 2 door sedan 120Y rollover, and it looked pretty good, even without a rollbar.

So please tell you mate to rally a 120Y
Here, as in the USA, there's plenty of them to go around.

Hey,

1200 sedan roll overs are something I have a little experience with... Actually my wife of the time did it! She lost it on a patch of ice and slid off the outside of a corner into what looked like a nice large patch of grass. Turned out to be grass growing over sand. The tires hooked into the sand and caused the car to do a snap roll and land perfectly upside down without touching the rest of the car. It broke the windshield and pushed the center of the windshield frame down about 6". Did not deform anything other than the top of the windshield frame and the center of the roof. Doors opened and closed fine!

We rolled the car back onto it's wheels and towed it home. 2 hours later I had pushed the windshield frame back to where it should have been, duct taped a spare windshield in place with using black duct tape, and got the engine started. We drove the car over 6 months before retiring her permanatly.

The sedans are a pretty strong little car for what they are made out of. Or maybe it's because of the light material that keeps them from collapsing!

There are so many 210's to choose from, you'll find what you want. Just do some internet searching right before you come over. The US guys can probably help by checking a local one out for you and giving an honest opinion. At least I will. I'm in the Sacramento, CA area. I'd like to follow up a lead in the Santa Cruz area, so if you find one between here & there I'll give it a look for you.
