I also happened to pick up the petrol tank from the Silhouette (1st bit of the story).
... because i heard that Kev Rowley (up in Brisbane?) often fits them to CA18 converted 1200s (probly just the utes, dunno though). Anybody know anything about this?

I saw a Corolla EFI tank bolted in the back of a 1200 coupe (inside the car). He did it to get the in-tank fuel pump and baffling.
At first I wondered how safe that was, but then thought about all the older cars that had a similar setup from the factory, for example, the 1200 sedan has it right behind the back seat.

yeah, well, exactly...
I figured that the R31 tank would have an in-tank pump with baffles and a larger capacity, etc, etc and if i fitted it it would also make a surge tank and 2 fuel pumps redundant? Is that right? You can view topic.
