Is it possible to open clean it and make the tail lights shiny and look new again?
I saw an ad before they make your dull supra and soarer headlights clean and shiny again dont know if they can do it with tail lights or other model.

Yeah you just have to unscrew them off the back of your can then they are held together by screws, you can pull them fully apart.

Cheers

Any car polish will do it well, I used some turtlewash polish on my N15 pulsar guard indicator lenses, they came up great. They initially looked stuffed, and I was considering buying new ones. The car sat for a while in the Sun (2 years).

But the best all 'round polish is AutoSol. It's in a silver/black/red coloured metalic tube, sold in cardboard box. You can get it at Kmart or any auto shop. At 8-12 bucks it seems expensive, but it lasts forever..

dont use methalated spirits coz it cleans them but dosent leave a nice shine. just a dry look to them.

Another cheaper polish is Brasso .
For small shallow scratches I face them back with 1200g or Super Fine Wet and Dry sandpaper then finish off with Brasso, works a treat

Here is another good one if you have a bench grinder, get a buffing wheel and the correct rouge it takes less than half the time of hand polishing and comes up a treat and autosol is bloody good as well
