Air Conditioning ->1200 wagon

Gday Lads,
I'm just wondering if anyone has attempted to fit the air conditioning setup from say a 120y into a 1200. From my days of scouring Pick 'n Payless wreckers for 1600 parts, I remember seeing an underdash air conditioner in a 120y wagon. Now that I'm upgrading to a 1200 wagon, I'd like to see if such a unit would fit. James.

If anyone knows where an aircon unit for a 1200/ 120Y can be found in WA, can they please PM me ?

i saw a/c in a sunny one day (a12 motor), it didnt look like it would be hard to adapt, just the mounting of vents in the car and that really, was tempted to get it but decided against it
