#1 Wheel arch flares
old_school Posted on: 2004/3/11 10:28
Does anyone know a company who is able to supply wheel arch flares for a 1200 coupe. I have no luck with WA companies - without a custom job.

Thanks

I can put you onto the guy who makes them. Same as what's on my car and ca18det_man's. They were molded specifically for 1200s and fit perfectly. I'm sure Andrew will vouch for their quality too. Made for Improved Production (3J) rules.

I don't know. Fibreglass is flexible - up to a point... but the 120Y is quite different to the 1200. If old_school gets some, maybe you could hookup with him and place them against the car to see how they'd go. Because of the body shape, a universal flare would probably sit OK on a 120Y.

i thought about SLR 5000 Torana flares but i'm really not sure i would need some serious rubber under ther to make them look sensible

I've seen someone try to use SLR5000 flares on a 120Y - it was horrible. They are way too long for the wheelarch on a Datsun
