I can tell you NO!
The Ute ones are not half as complex or classy as the Wagon ones! ![]() The wagon ones are almost impossible to get these days, so make sure that you don't break yours. Cheers, Chris

Thanks for that.
I just bought it for $1200 and the lenses are a bit faded.

I also have two wagons with the same problem. There is a place called Headlights plus they do repairs to placsic components. haven't tryed them myself but worth a shot.

I spoke to a guy with a old holden once and what he had done was interesting.
He went to a spraypainter and using a touchup gun he painted the inside of the lenses with a candy paint in the desired tint. Eg red. Without using a base coat so it was transparent. Dont know how long it would last but these tail light lenses looked brand new. Jarrad

You used to be able to buy tail light repair kits (primarily aimed at 200B owners). They had red and amber paint in little bottles.
You can also use girl's nailpolish, that works fine too ![]() Chris

Sorry for the dumb question - but what does "ute" mean? IN the US we have Sedans, Coupes (or hatchback), Wagons - but no "ute". I've heard that used for Sport Utility Vehicle though. Thanks for the help, and I don't mean to hijack the thread.

i had a problem with faded lenses on my last car (cappuccino) and to replace was oalmost 1g
the guy that painted my ute (before i owned the cap) put me onto this product which he claimed was not made any more... gave me the rest of this product he had, came in a jerry- can looking container and it works a treat. if your lights come good when you wet them then this stuff makes them look wet all the time with one application... cant think of the name off the top of my head though. it is excellent #### though You can view topic.
