Hi there, take a trip down to your local auto shop, you can buy coolant in two forms pre-mixed or undiluted, I recommend buying a good quality undiluted bottle, most 500ml bottles will make 10 litres, you will only need 4 litres i think so its good for 2 flushes, clean your cooling system first, I always pull the heater hose off, put a hose in one end and have the other end drain out on the ground or in a bucket to flush the heater because these can get quite blocked. Replace any soft or cracked hoses as these can leak or if too soft can collapse causing overheating.

To get it really clean, remove a heater hose and fit the garden hose to it, turn it on low and let it flush the engine. make sure your heater tap is on. then refill with antifreeze and water mix, allow 2 to 3 litres of antifreeze. it stops corrosion and helps transfer the heat through the radiator. then run you engine with the cap off until you see water circulating through the radiator. there all bleed.

Antifreeze is for cold climates, etc when below freezing temps, ask your assistant at the shop what would suit your climate/vehicle best

Not so (Antifreeze is for cold climates, etc). Yes it prevents freezing of the coolant, but it also has anti-rust qualities.
The brown-orange? Using antifreeze will help prevent this. Straight water will turn brown-orange in a relatively short time. You can view topic.
