What Exactly is "GMAIL" ??? whats it cost, what happens if u dont use it for say, 2 months, etc? details please.

it free, its a webmail thing like hotmail but you get 1gig storage, and it has a google search style function.
Its googles answer to hotmail, but you never need to delete emails. and i dont think you have to log on every 2 months or so, but i havent had mine long enough to know.
