i know the sound of the datsun is music to your ears but i was wondering what people have done in the audio department, i am in the process of putting sounds in my 82 datsun ute, i have put 6.5" components in the doors and was wondering if any of you have put a sub in theirs as there is ####e all room to put one, i know this may seem like killing the datsun but im sure it would be as smooth as a gravy sandwich. Hey dude im a bit into the whole car audio in the ute!!!. I will run through what i have got:. I have a panasonic headdeck which is runnin 2 compettion eclipse speakers in the kick panels, not in the doors, then behind the seats i have 2 jvc 6X9's. I then have a sony 222w amp which is installed in front of the passengers foot area, its sorta up up of the way. The amp is runnin 2 things called bass engines which u can buy from J CAR. What they do is only pick up the bass vibrations and act as mini subs. These bass engines are wired up under both seats!!!!. I was going 2 attampt 2 make a custom sub box that sits in front of the heater box, on the transmission tunnel, i have been to lazy but!!!
