I hate to part with my old car after a 25+ year affair, but momma finally went and bought her a new car (won't mention brand or name). Anyway, it's a 1971 Datsun 1200 here in Dallas, Texas. Total of about 135,000 miles only. It is well used and the engine runs and tranny works. I will entertain thoughts, ideas, offers and criticism. The original title was lost in buying it back from the insurance folks, but the salvage title paperwork is in hand. Who knows, I may part it out on eBay or totally junk it for some charity type thing. It can be seen at http://hometown.aol.com/jerjensen and I can send more digiphotos if desired. I hate to part with it, but we just don't have room for an extra vehicle.

Thanks for the queries. The car does run OK. I bought a battery for my truck so when the 1200 goes I keep the battery. It is an excellent parts car and includes extra carb - the original and repair manual and owners manual. It was all you guys on this board that helped me keep this beast running. Again I can run out and send some digital photos if any extra are desired.

Sorry about the delay - I had to work and we do it in 24 or 48 hr shifts. I moved the car 2 houses down to make room in our driveway. Ran fine to get it down there. It was a vinyl top at one point many years ago....
