Yes most definatley glad you came to your sense after the wankers told you it was sh|t... When it most certainly is not and never will be after the hard yards you've put into it!!!
Will be glad to hear wat the next plans are for it and how far you are going to go with it Many more years of happy driving is in that car...Cheers Dave

Well I can tell you the next installment is going to be new springs and shocks all round. Lower of course. It is also going to get a diff uprgrade to a 120y borgwarner. Redo the interior. And then possibly another engine. Yes I know my new one has only done 8000kms but I need speed. Satisfied for the moment with the a14 with twin su's,extrators, light head work, 25/65 cam and high comp pistons which I plan to upgrade to an a15 crank in a14 block to keep it legal
then extensive head work, full balancing, lightened flywheel and a big cam. Dont give a rats how streetable it is as long as its fun. and I should get away with it for under a grand.

mate my dads a mechanic, my uncles a mechanic and my cousin is a mechanic who specializes in head work. The engine that I have now cost me $400 including cam, headwork and full rebuild kit. Its great having a family thats full of mechanics. My only costs a basically parts.

Ever thought of any forced induction? A small(ish) blower or turbo set up could be done easily for under a 1k and would be tons of fun as most plp would tell you! SOO many plp have info on this stuff....or go one better than 1200rallycar and fulfill the A15TTTT set up lol
Or you could REALLY look and try and find some A series injection now that would be cool.....but expensive ![]() But if expenisves the go then get a set of 4 Keihin, Mikuini or the alike motobike carbs! oooo their sexy and fun If the enging swap is on, gona stay with the A series? surley, A all the way! I could say more but money sux.... Good to hear what the next 'stage' is! Dave

Yes it will still definately be an a-series. Might stick with the a14 or upgrade the a14 with an a15 crank so it still looks legal. Im not into turboing or supercharging. Yes it would be great and tons of fun but I would still like to have insurance and for a young bloke like me unless you dont tell them about it insurance will pay the car off in two years.
