Fuel Pump Kit

What's the go with getting a fuel pump kit at a reasonable price?
They seem to be just short of the whole fuel pump. I have 3 fuel pumps lying about, I don't really want another one. I figure anyone with a screwdriver and a spare 5 minutes can replace a diaphragm. I would have thought a reasonable price for a kit would be around $20 AUD Can anyone shed some light on this A12 dilemma??
