i've got a 40 dhla dellorto on my 1600 escort (sorry it's not a datto cos my 1200 is broke) at idle the fuel just pisses out the throats of the carby and into the air filter does anybody know why this would be? also once you swithch the car off fuel continues to flow out for about 15 seconds it's getting rather expensive. does any body have any contact details for CARBTECH
thanx Dave

possibilities:
1) fuel pressure too high. under 4psi recommended 2) stuck needle and seat 3) incorrectly set float level 4) 'sunk' float carb tech are in the white and yellow pages. try www.whitepages.com.au
