what should i expect

im putting an a14 in me ute, and i was just wondering what sort of power increase i should expect??
i had an a12 with standard everything bar extractors, the new engine has twin carbies all factory lookin. will it be sort of , yeah ok- half a smile type increase. or will it be a, Whoa nelly type big grin increase???

A14 twin carbs and extractors will give the big smile increase.

I just installed fresh a14 in my girlfriends sedan, she had a knackered a12 commercial motor before (1275cc) We both noticed a fair difference, heaps more response, probably a lot due to other engine being so worn. But it definitely put a smile on her dial. What sort of twin carbs are you using? i guess hitachi's, get them tuned right and the little ute we love it.
