The only problem is that he said its a 70-71 longbed ( i wanted a short bed) and the emblems say datsun 1600 can it be a 70-71 with a 1600?..i thought all 70-71 were 1200's?...if im wrong feel free to school me. IM NEW to the datsuns. -Gus-Quote:

as far as I know there is no ute based on the 1600.
that ute in the ozdat feature pages has been made custom from a sedan. they did however bring out 520, 620 and 720. All with the L series 4 cly (I believe)

Hey maztec - Just be paitent mate...... I scoured the trading post / websites etc. for months looking for a suitable project ute. I ended up finding one with a bit of rust for $1000...... And wouldn't you know it, the week after I bought it there was one advertised "No rust, body only" for $500.
Good things come to those who wait.
