Posted on: 2005/9/5 0:17
My name is Andrew and i am investigating Rotor Habits in NZ.
I am currently conducting a survey to find out consumer preferences and behaviour when it comes to modifying Rotary powered vehicles. The investigation is part of my final assessment piece for a BMS degree at the Uni of Waikato. It is also on behalf of the company i am investigating: D.R.S (Demon Rotorsport). If you are interested PM me, phone me, txt me, or email me with your address and i will send you a copy of the survey along with a stamped self-addressed envelope so you can return the survey. Andrew wast3dwagon@hotmail.com awap1@waikto.ac.nz 027 431 5733 Also, if anyone could tell me of some more rotary based forums (NZ) it would much appreciated! ...also, after passenger side front guard for square headlight b310 sunny.

Piston engines drop seals? and make flames?
Rotary engines are better at increased fuel consumption and Hydrocarbon emissions, although the RX8 is supposed to have answered those issues.

Good on the track but difficult to live with on the road I reckon. best quote I read about rotaries;
"Conceptually brilliant, geometrically flawed" and a whole speal about the geometric reasons for their lack of torque without forced induction.

Piston engines drop seals? and make flames? Yep. If he's talking about any rotary engine, ehich I presume he is, I can be just as general about the piston engine, whichever one that may be. So yes, I've seen many a piston engine make flames and drop a seal of some sort. You can view topic.
