hi people.i have a 120y (b210)sedan whit a a12 stock engine.after read and seen on the net the swap the a12 engine whit a L16 engine ,a question ocours?
the drive train off the 120y fits on the L16 gear box?i never seen any report about that. the drive train needs work to be done, needs some cuting or the joint fits right on the new gear box? ps:i presume the tecnical names are that because my english is not very god.

i think what you mean is the tailshaft/driveshaft,between the gearbox & the rearend.yes, the front part will need to be changed, unless, you have a large 5 speed in your 120y already.most north american b210's
(120y's) had the larger 5 speed,but i don't know about anywhere else.in australia the 120y only came as a 4 speed.

tanks.
i have a junk yard near me who have a stanza whit the engine and transmition completed. because off that i have been this idea off upgrading my b210(120y) whit a "new" engine whit more power. the question was if the driveshaff was the same from the stanza to a b210 . and my 120y have a normal 4 speed gear box. tanks again for your time. see you You can view topic.
