Does anyone know of any junkyard (in the US)that just has old japanese or four cylinder stuff lying around? Most salvage yards in South Carolina take a few seconds to remind themselves what a Datsun is. Then they laugh.

Maybe it takes a lot of patience for Google. I have never found a Datsun scrapyard. I do look on Ebay all the time though. I called a local wrecker and they said they had a B110 not a month ago. I was all but peeing in my pants... until they told me they crushed it. I guess Myrtle Beach isn't the best place for scrapyards though.

Try to find an online junkyard search, where you enter in make/model/year and what parts you want, and the database is searched.

Try calling Les Cannaday at Classic Datsun Motorsports,out in back of his shop is a salvage yard. He'll have about anything you need, and if he does'nt he'll know how to get it. His phone # is (760) 940-6365.

Hey, thanks. See, a place with the word Datsun actually in it... I must be a little dopey when using search engines. I will also try looking for that parts search thingy. Or maybe, just maybe, search engines come up with pages and pages of trash.

There is a Nissan salvage yard in the San Francisco area. They have roadster stuff and even parts for the Datsun Patrol. I have never called them or asked about 1200 parts, but it may be worth an e-mail enquiry.

there was some junkyard parts salvage search site, can't remember it now, but it gave a list of places that allegedly had parts, then all you had to do was get them to call back or respond to email, and then go see if they can still find the listed part.
