window tint from hell!

Just spent the last 6 hours high on ammonia fumes trying to get the ancient window tint of my windows. One thing I noticed is just how cramped the rear seat is in the 1200 coupe
I used Ammonia and sprayed it on liberally then cut up some black garbage bags and layed them against the glass and left the car in the sun for about 2 hours when I returned I peeled the garbage bags off and began ripping away at the tint before the glue had a chance to dry, it helped alot to keep spraying ammonia on the tint so it stayed moist. But what a bloody job, took me ages to do as the sun was coming out and then it would dissapear behind the clouds for a while and made it hard for me to keep the windows warm. The windows now look crystal clean after a good scrub up with ammonia based aerosol window cleaner and steel wool followed by more ammonia and polishing with rags, Finally I can see out my windows again (yes they were that bad!) But now that I have seen how good she looks with clear windows it has given me ideas with what else is next, first up some new carpets, door skins then maybe a pair of WRX or CRX seats and some reupholstering on the bench seat then a new paint job in canary yellow and a set of black, silver or white mags
