i have a stock nissan 1400 bakkie.

to b honest it picks up speed real freely.

i can go flat out in 5th and it the speedo goes past the 160km/h mark and starts to bounce.

so what did any of url get....

Well in AU we only have 4 speeds,but you could get about 150km if you where stuffed in the head thats just stupid in a stock 1200 ute.

No man its totaly kewl.

have to admit a bit scary cos rattles are crazy. the van has no rev counter so no idea what rev im doin.

iv hit 160km/h flat strap at close too or on 6000rpm - dont really look at the tacho at this speed.... stock A14 4speed box in a 1200 ute with ute diff. must say it clocks the speedometer over fairly quickly. i do have 4-2-1 extractors though.

cruising at 160 wid a "1400 bakkie" (dats wat the ute is called ere) is over kewl cos people dont expect t be passed at that speed by a 1400. hehe :D

On your exhaust manifold it goes from 4 pipes to 2 pipes to 1 pipe

well i got my ute with the extractors on so i cant compare. they sound awsome though with the exhaust. i dont think it would make much power difference by just doing the extractors - but with head done and some performance type of intake it would all compliment each other - it all helps to flow much better and more efficientley.

and im also a yapee but comverted to australian.. ha! i left when i was six so im all aussie pretty much. yeah the Nissan 1400 bakkie champ hey! must say you should ship over some 5speed boxes and some boerewors - and mrs balls chutney along with it.

My sedan with 3.9diff and stock a14 with 32/36weber with extractors into 2inch exhaust used to go off the clock at 100mph (160km/h) quite easily really too. Felt okay with the 175/70 r13 too. no bounce.
