GTR debut at MtCotton practice day

the GTR had its first run on the track yesterday. It wasn't an actual event, just a practice day and "come and try" day for first timers.
It was raining heavily most of the day, but it eased to a drizzle for one or two runs. The GTR was pretty awesome, and heaps of fun to drive. It was the fastest car by about 3 seconds, but there wasn't all that much competition and I was still taking it pretty easy through the trickier parts of the track. The times aren't really relevant to a dry event, so I'll still have to wait and see how it will go against the faster Subarus - and my old 1200's times, but it showed a bit of promise, and I think some tweaking with suspension geometry will help too. I won't get to run at MtCotton again until next year, because the next event clashes with the Bathurst dates, and I'm really looking forward to opening it up down Conrod straight!
