GX Bottom end

as i was reading through the tech section i noticed that it says that 1200GX's have flat top pistons, is this correct, as my one has the same pistons as a standard 1200 a12.
Also as i am planning on using the standard 1200 block, crank, pistons, conrods. i was wondering if i should use the GX stuff, it doesnt really look any different to the standard stuff. except that the GX conrods look to be a it stronger, but also slightly heavier. Any opinions?

The article should be updated.
There were two GX pistons: low-gas and hi-gas. See: A12 GX Compression Readings

all I know is that the GX bottom ends were 10.0:1 compression ratio and they were balanced the block also had slight cut outs at the edges of the bores to allow clearance for the exhaust valve lip
