Who gives a ####. Its got nothing to do with this forum, so it doesnt belong here. Talk about it on another forum.
"Sydney Riots" makes no sense with the happenings. Its about a suburb not sydney.

120fly: it didnt start over a kebab shop and a chip shop. The straw that broke the camels back was when a bunch of lads of 'lebanese decent' bushed 2 life guards at north cronulla beach, they were 16 and 19 years old..... the assultants were heard yelling ' GET OFF OUR BEACH' to the lifeguards.
I do not condone any of the violent proccedings that took place over the weekend but understand that these kind of cowardly attacts have been going on for years and years....as long as i can remember! And the locals felt they needed to take the law into their own hands (wrong decision)! The worst thing about it is that lables such as 'wogs', 'lebs' and the like are being used and theat people of arabic decent are being descriminated against when it is only a small slice of their comunity that gives them a bad name. My 2c...... Elliott

So the aussies took the law into their own hands as payback to the lebs, and the lebs hitting back a tthe aussies.......then why the fark are innocent people, expecially elderly people getting beaten up.....and peoples cars getting trashed......I dont care what nationality or for what reasons, but assaulting innocent people and destroying peoples property are plain criminal acts and only pure d1cks would stoop that low.
12 people to bash 1 elderly person...what pu$$ies.

Violence is the first resort of the uneducated.
I don't agree with either side.

Violence is the first resort of the uneducated. Roger that - they should settle their differences on the track....in evenly matched Datsuns.... Pretty gross really to see that sort of intolerance in a country famous for its tolerance and willingness to get along. Defintely should have been in the off topic section

Exactly right. One group attacks Life guards. Other group rallies together in anger and ends up attacking Police. Both as bad as the other. To the group that smashed up cars in Cronulla last night - you samshed the windscreen on the car of the foreman of my workshop. Funny thing is, he originates from the same part of the world as you. Hahaa stupid dumb ####s Cronulla locals can control their beach themselves. They dont need the rest of Sydney's help. Cant wait for the other group to pull out their usual drawcard of " we werent taught not to act like this in our homeland" Datsun1200.com not interested. You can view topic.
