Try dyson rotary on the gold coast he probably beable to help with the engine and a 4 speed box for a 10a rotary ..Dont think youll have to much trouble fitting it in with the 4sp box best off luck

Why go for the 10A why not a 12A?, bigger more go, betterer yeah?

But on the other hand a hot A series will keep up with a stock rotory, and hotted up rotarys are pigs, not to mention thirsty (but fun).

sidedraught im going for the 10A because i herd the 12A is legal in a 1000 coupe in queensland. if it is legal then i would go for the 12A.

thanks for the pic phunkdoktaspok, was it a 1000 ute or a 1200 ute?

cheers

Scary. Best of luck though.

my 1200 ute has 2 of them grille/vent things near the windscreen, one on each side. that pic looks as though it only has 1.

i'm not sure about what the 1000 has or even if the 1200 changed from ute - car. or changed over time (my ute is a 78 model).

It is plain obvious what it is. If you cant tell what model it is, it's scary that you are undertaking a conversion.

This engine bay has no strut towers therefore it doesnt not have Macpherson strut types up the front thus making it a 1000 ute model. They use upper and lower controlarms with a transverse leaf spring.

I would have thought you'd pick that out straight away

Good luck with it all !
