#1 Norwegian Cars:

Thanks for the respond concerning my album.
Yes, they put plenty of salt on the road in my area, but some of my cars have been bought from areas where there is no salt on the road, and there are still possibilites to find good
examples.
-No I never use them in wintertime.
-Modified 240Z = L28ET engine from 83 280 ZXTT(added a big intercooler) . Original 5 sp BorgWarner gearbox (turbo), 3.3:1 (I think) limited slip diff, 1.5 bar turboboost, Jaguar XJS
brakes et.c. The picture is taken on a vacation on the german Autobahn some years ago.

Take a look at: www.ratdat.com (eng. txt) and find a story from Norway and see a story from Norwegian Datsun/PMC meeting 2000.
Knut.

Hi guys,
The article I've done on my trip to Norway is in the process of being changed to a new photo album format. The albums are uploaded but not linked yet so if you go to...http://
members.sniffout.com/ratdat/KNUT2000/norwayKNUT.htm you can see a load of pics of Knut's cars and go to ... http://members.sniffout.com/ratdat/NN2000/norwayNN.htm you can see some of
the Datsuns belonging to Nissan Norway. They have a couple of 1200s. The rest is still accessable via the main site at www.ratdat.com There will be more 1200 stuff going on my site
soon. Let me know if you have any problems viewing the site as I'm still learning how to make the website! HTML is not a strongpoint of mine.
Cheers,
Eddie

Eddie,
Good stuff.
I wonder if they'd sell that mint 2 door.
It's so amazing. I reckon they should start remaking them...! New cars
are rubbish.
Even the latest Nissan offerings (except GTR) don't have the style of the
110/510.

dattodude, I agree with you in regard to styling of the 110 and 510 series and the 240z for that matter. Datsun really had their act together back then. I couldn't believe it
when they replaced the 1200 with that ugly B210. Although in retrospect, the B210 didn't look that bad when compared to the F10, which might be the ugliest car Datsun ever made.

I agree... The B210 is no way as good looking as the 1200. It's just wierd, however that is it's attraction. I think the Japanese spec 1400 and 1600GX coupe B210s with the
round tail lights look best. he's a pic of one... http://members.sniffout.com/ratdat/images/Excellent1600GX.jpg

hey got any more pics like that? I like all the A series coupes (sedans too) though the 120y
(B210)is my prefed choice.

I never knew there was a B210 1600 GX, that thing actually looks kinda cool, at least way better than any B210 I've seen in America. So what kind of engine was the 1600
GX??? An A-series???

Andy,
It's an L16 like the 510 but with a 5 speed. It has a single carb unit rated at 100PS. Strangely the top speed is only rated at 100mph... you would think an L16 in a B210 with a 5 speed
would be much faster. I have the Japanese brochure so I'll scan a few pages out of it an upload them to my webspace and post the URLs later. The actual model in that pic is a KGB211
rather than B210. I think all the ones like this with round tail lights and pointed fronts are B211's.
