what gearbox oil should i use?

After giving ny new 5 speed a clean and such i drained the oil to put some fresh stuff in there.
what should i use, what is reliable and good quality and give me most performance from it,now i have one i want it to last for some time. Should i use any additives like UNI GLIDE in it.
