Hi Guys Now here is a strange one for you all. A friend of mine spent 10 years in P.N.G. through the 90,s. he is a great fan of the 1000 and has owned 4 of them over the years. He told me in the mid 90,s you could buy a brand new 1000 ute in P.N.G. he reckons he actually had a good look at some of them and they were brand new. he reckons some company purchsed the dyes for them anmd produced a lot of them for sale only in P.N.G.This guy is not known to talk crap and he assured me they were there. What do you lot reckon ??

Well ... IIS is the airport code for Nissan Island Airport. I reckon that's where the factory would be.
We are not spinning yarns, unless it's not true.

I was in South Africa not long ago and there are heaps of new 1200 utes there. I think they are about A$14 000. If you were wanting to build a show car they would probably be the best way to go.
