Removing Coupe Side Vents

I have been trying to remove the side vents on the coupe, but I am not having much luck. I have undone the 8mm nuts and still they wont move. Seem to be held on by something else maybe???

There's a piece of the vent, a peg that has an expanding metal one-way clip on it. From inside the car pinch the metal clip with some pliers and they should pop out.
