Dyno Sheet as promised......only problem is, they couldn't find the last run that we did. The one below is the 2nd last run, only made 227rwhp, as opposed to the 232rwhp on the final run.....other difference was the "dip" in the middle of the graph was less pronounced on the last run.
Anyway, the shape of the graph is pretty similar - should give everyone some idea of how it went. ![]()

can i ask, i've just bought a datto 1200 ute, i'll be paying it off for about a year but after that i'm moving straight into an engine transplant, which engine would be the best to turn my little datto into a weapon, i was thinking CA but i'd like to be a tad original

CA is a great transplant for the 1200 - some people have gone SR also, but you may need to check the legalities of the SR turbo in a 1200 ute.
Either way - it will go like stink!

Screw the horsepower, take a look at that torque curve. Perhaps I should say torque line. It's near as flat as the horizontal lines on the graph paper & is over 200 Lbs ft from about 4,300 rpm almost to the top end & even then it drops only about 5%.
Thats the sort of stuff that helps win races.

Well picked up dodgeman - Torque was 210 ft/lb's and is spread over a really good rev range.....It should haul out of the corners now ;)
The boost was 16psi, with further tuning we hope to build 22psi at about 4,000rpm, with the boost gradually coming back to 15psi @ 6,200rpm. We are planning a test day for this Friday coming - 17th March at Wakefield - if your around Dodgeman, feel free to come and say hi.... we have around 30ft/lb's and 50hp more than what we had last time you saw us run at Wakefield.
