Me

Well not really. I just made a new handbrake cable for my kb10 on the weekend out of a cable from another car. It already had the knob thingo on one end, and I got some thread the right size, drilled it out then silver soldered it onto the other end. Will let you know how it goes, but it wasnt too hard. Good luck!

You could also email this guy, he owns a company in Perth that makes them. His email is joe@autocables.com.au but he screwed me around a bit. Or go to your local repco and ask, they know people that do it but they said it is upwards of $100

Thing is i have a cut down 10 bolt salsbury from a Commodore.. I have 2 cables running off the rear brakes from a Skyline Wagon, these cables have brackets on the end that i need bolted/welded onto the right side axle part of the diff behind where the original cable comes out of the body... Then - i need some sort of U bracket type setup to join the 3 cables... Its a bitch.. And, its one of those things that i'd rather leave to the right person and get it right first time..

I have seen some good ones on the net that are hydrolic and mechanical to avoid legalities, there is also ones that are hydrolic that sit beside your mechanical one i will try find a pic to post.

Is this so you can do mad hand brakeys in front of the cop shop or something lol

I had exactly the same problem with the borgwarner diff conversion. I made 90degree angles for the two brake lines that bolt into the two holes where the diff bummp stop used to be and like you said make a three way fitting for the joining part, only trouble is the cables always stretch and need adjusting and the hand brake is crapy at the best of times any ways (maybe not on yours but the borg hand brake sux) good luck

I think I remember Dattodude having a pic of the bracket he made for his 1200. It would give you some ideas of how to make it work.

Those hydrulic setups are nice - but my 1200 is going to have enough problems getting thru rego, so i dont need anymore issues!!

I glad to hear someone else has had the same problem as i!! I would attempt it myself, but im just not 100% sure on how about to do it.. Have u got any pics 731200?? Dattodude?

In NSW you are not even allowed to have a hydraulic handbrake next to your exhisting mechanical one.....bloody RTA... thats why I decided not to try and get rego!

Try your local trailer manufacturer/seller.
