5. South Africa: the only place it is still made
4. United States: lots of 1200s, unfortunately far apart
3. Australia: so many 1200s still going strong
2. Portugal: home of the 2-dr Sedan

And I've heard 1200's cease production in S. Africa this year. Can any of you S.A. boys confirm???

I just got back from Fiji this morning, In two days on the road, I saw about a dozen 1200 utes and sedans on the road. I saw even more 120y's, sunny's and 3 x 1600's. They were all a bit rough but in good working order, its great to see them in action. I was quite surprised, the coolest one I saw was a yellow 1200 which was being used as a taxi. I wanted to wave him down and take a ride in it, but he already had four burly fijian passengers.

Wow, by any chance did you get a photo of the 12000 taxi?

Unfortunately I was too slow to get a picture of the yellow 1200 taxi as it went past. I did get some other pictures I've put some of them online..
