#1 Sr20det four wire cam angle sensor - What wires are which signals?
JasoNDMX2 Posted on: 2006/5/2 0:37
It's a hitachi cas on a redtop

has a small (like 20 gauge) black wire
black/white 18 gauge
black 18 gauge
white 18 gauge

also the throttle position sensor
Green/orange wire
kight green wire
red (with pink band- signal wire?)

I am wiring these to an autronic SMC and it is calling for

trigger supply
reference trigger i/p
cylinder pulse trigger i/p

throttle position supply
throttle position input

throttle position sensors typically have V+, signal, Ground.
some want +5 and give a range, some want +12 and give on/off.

the signal is usually the center wire and may have shielding on it.

So, have you installed the CAS disk yet?

I don't believe the SMC supports the 1degree signals out of the Nissan-factory units.

The rest should be easily determined using the SR20 factory workshop manual PDF available online.
