GreaseMonky Posted on: 2006/5/10 7:39
Ok after driving my new 72 coupe, Kick in the pants to drive, I have decided to part out the 73 to fix the body on the new 72. There will be lots of parts available that I will not be using so if any one needs something let me know

I need one genuine air cleaner wingnut, the kind with the large diameter circle below it.

By the way, are you going to the Trojan Nuclear plant caravan on Saturday? It is followed by a BBQ at the Datsun custom shop south of Portland. Hope to see you there. details: AMI BBQ

I need Dash parts if you have 'em...

will a coupe dash fit a sedan without too much modification?

What is your front suspension? if it's the disc I got first dibs.. ;)

Thanks.

I think a coupe dash will fit a USA 2-dr sedan without any modification. They both look identical (round gauge dash). There is an article (two maybe) in the Tech Section that talks about changing dashes.

On the other hand, wiring varies a little between 1971, 1972 and 1973.

I have a set of struts complete in good shape from a sedan w/ disc's and also a set from a coupe, also w/disc, dash I am not sure on if it will fit, do you need just a pad or a complete unit?. As far as drive train and suspension parts I have comple units from sedan, and a coupe.

Sorry no straight bumpers, they are pretty wavy, also the valance I will need, but turn signals I can help you out on

damn bumpers are hard to come by.

what do you want for turn signals?... I guess they would be small enough to ship as well... you are in wasthington state?

maybe I'll look over my coupe tomorrow and see if I need anything else..

but the front turn signals, housings, wire pigtails, and lenses, for sure.

-forrest.

GM,

If you have a clean dashpad, I could use one. I could use a not-so-good one, too.
