ute is 695kg
why is the 2 door sedan heavier then they 4 door variant?? and why is the coupe heavier then both of them?? do you have the values the wrong way around or is there a reason for this??

I have a little more info on these 3 models that might help piece the weight together.
It could be glass - I seem to remember hearing that the S13 silvia was lighter than the 180sx be a fair margin - one reason was the enourmous back screen of the coupe.... Dato 1200 2dr Sed 4dr Sed 2dr Coupe Length 3.83 m 3.83 m 3.82 m Width 1.50 m 1.50 m 1.51 m Height 1.39 m 1.39 m 1.35 m Wheel base 2.30 m 2.30 m 2.30 m Weight 720 kg 715 kg 730 kg Front suspension MacPherson MacPherson MacPherson Rear suspension Leaf + shock Leaf + shock Leaf + shock Front brakes Drum Drum Disc Rear brakes Drum Drum Drum

It is in the structure
for some reason 2 doors and coupes weigh in a little heavier as they need more support for the bigger doors, Convertables I think weigh in heafty as well

What?
Fact: the 2-doors weigh less than the 4-door. Why do the weight figures quoted differ? Two main reasons: 1. Different sources weigh cars differently. Some are shipping weight, some "curb" weight, others with full tank of fuel, others will half tank, etc. 2. 1200 models from different countries have different weights. Likewise for different trims (for example, Standard models vs. Deluxe models) Check out this, from one source: 4-dr manual 1532 lbs 4-dr auto 1609 lbs 2-dr coupe 1520 lbs 5-dr wagon 1609 lbs You can view topic.
