WELL THANKS FOR THE MASSIVE INPUT.
I WOULD HAVE THOUGHT SOMEONE ELSE WOULD HAVE RESTORED A A12 RATHER THAN BOLT IN ANOTHER ENGINE. ANYBODY???

THANKS FOR THE REPLY.
WHAT COMPRESSION AND CARBIES ARE YOU RUNNING? I HAVE PREVIOUSLY HAD A REALLY GRUMPY COROLLA USING THE ORIGIONAL 4K MOTOR. APART FROM GETTING MISTAKED FROM A ROTARY WHEN IDLEING IT WAS COOL. I JUST WANT MY UTE TO GO AS GOOD AS THAT OR BETTER AND I WILL BE HAPPY.

ALTHO IAM STILL AT BODY WORK STAGE I DID SOME ENGINE PRICING.
I WAS VERY SUPPRISED ON HOW CHEAP PARTS ARE FOR THE A12. BECAUSE I DO ALL OF OWN WORK I WILL BE ABLE TO FINISH MY ENGINE FOR 1G. I STILL NEED TO FIND EXTRACTORS ETC

It's an easy and relatively cheap upgrade, and straight forward ..... ............. but i luv my A12 powered sedan cos it revs like nuthin, turns corners likes "it's on rails" and wipes the smile off the faces of many an unsuspecting newer car driver You can view topic.
