I'm trying to find the original part number for the distributor in the
a12 engine. Thanks

there is more than one possability for a part number. depending on where the car was sold, and what year it was manufactured.
look on the distributor housing for a 10 digit number it will begin with 22100-xxxxx, that will be the original part number for that distributor.

most 1200 distributors are hitachi... up to 1971 model # d411-61, north america d412-63,after 1971 d412-80 (manual trans), d412-89 (auto trans).. hope
