Are A15s an easy swap into 1200 utes, dropping motor tomoro, just wondering any basic upgrades could do while its out.
How much to do a basic front end disc brake conversion? Cheers

They are an easy swap, you might need a bit of flat iron to extend the mounts if needed.
A basic disc brake conversion should cost bugger all, get all the bits from a 120y or 1200 coupe at the wreckers.

Have a look at the Mildman website (the www button at the bottom of this post).
Goes into way to much detail about fitting an A14 to a 1200 Coupe - pretty much the same process your about to do. I did a top end refresh of the A14 motor too - new gaskets all round, just didn't touch the bottom end (meaning pistons/bearings..) Might help...

if you have a late 1200 ute the A15 will bolt in with 120y mounts
or if you have a mig we grab a 120y crossmember and drill the up rights of it and then spot weld the up rights back on to the 1200 crossmember this is a very neat way of making a late crossmember

I can confirm that if you use 120Y engine brackets on the A14 it will bolt to a late model ute crossmember. (That's what I did anyway)
