Rims and spacers

hey everybody currently going down the road of looking for new rims. basicaly been given one option from everybody( bob jane etc.) without getting spacers, but not really what i am looking for. how hard and how much is it to get spacers and is there any reason other than bein illegal i shouldnt use them.

there is a lot of diffrent rims available you just have to go to someone who is a little more educated than the guys at bob jane
check out page 127 of Street Machine December issue with the mustang on the cover (self plug). it will give you all the pros and cons of using spacers. long and short of it is that wheel spacers are dangerous illeagle and should not be used unless the car came standard with them

i use spaces on my datto and have no problems... its only a problem if the wheels studs are to short

i got some wheel spacers (about 5mm thick) from auto barn for $25 perfect for what i wanted. (i converted to disc brakes and the rims touched on the calipers)

yer the guys at bob jane tried getting me on some contract to pay off wheels i didnt really like for $2800. talking to some local guys though should get some good five spokers at a much better price
