There was a nice purple coupe on ebay recently that I heard eventually sold to someone in Melbourne. Just wondering whether anyone on this forum is the new owner.
The car was painted Cadbury purple and had considerable gold detaling around the trim to match the gold bathurst globes.

I'd be keen to hear whether the new owner was happy with his purchase

Pretty sure they were globes. I would have put in a higher bid if it had Simmons on it.
He said he also had a set of 15inch ones that he planned to fit, but found they fouled at the front.

Maybe I'll see it cruisin around Melbourne one day. Once he sorts out the strut problem. I think it had one drum brake strut fitted as a replacement with the coupe disc brake rotor. The owner said he got it from a ute and the rotor was a bit sloppy on it!!
